Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a hands-on electrical/electronics technician to perform routine preventive maintenance and site corrective work on PLC and SCADA systems.

You will integrate hardware and software, assist project implementations, handle change management, liaise with clients, and provide clear documentation. The role requires at least 1 year in PLC and willingness to travel for site maintenance.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience with PLC.
• SCADA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and site corrective work.
• Integrate hardware and software and manage implementation.
• Execute integration/engineering/maintenance work with QA checks.
• Manage change control for applications and hardware deployment.
• Implement PLC/SCADA projects from concept to design and programming
• Interface with SCADA and PLC programming
• Meet with clients; prepare reports and documentation
• Troubleshoot independently when needed

Responsibilities

• To perform routine preventive work and site corrective maintenance
• Responsible for integration of both hardware & software work as well as implementation
• Carry out proper execution of the integration/engineering/maintenance work and QA Technical checks throughout project execution
• Handle application programme change management, hardware deployment management & documentation
• Implantation of PLC/SCADA project from concept to design and programming
• Interface with SCADA & PLC programming
• Meeting with clients, reports and documentation
• Capable of performing troubleshooting independently

Requirements

• Possess certificate in NITEC/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or related discipline
• With at least 1 years of experience in PLC. With SCADA, it will be added advantage
• Able to work under pressure, multi task and good coordination of tasks
• Able to perform standby duties
• Good interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and in teams
• Site maintenance and travelling is required
