Job summary

Achieve Career Consultant Pte Ltd is seeking an Associate Engineer – Telecommunications to support fibre network installation, maintenance and operations across developments in Singapore. The role involves coordinating vendors, ensuring Customer Ready Dates, and providing on-site support for network operations.

Based in Telok Blangah, you will engage with developers, public bodies and contractors, perform splicing and testing, and assist with safety checks to meet LTA requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Engineering, preferably Telecommunication.
• 2 years of relevant experience in telecommunications.
• Class 3 driving licence would be advantageous.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage fibre cable and pipe installation for new developments and backbone networks.
• Ensure fibre works meet operational standards and Customer Ready Dates.
• Coordinate vendors, contractor claims and material requirements.
• Perform fibre maintenance, troubleshooting and emergency restoration works.
• Conduct fibre splicing and testing using relevant equipment.
• Attend site meetings with developers, public bodies and contractors.
• Liaise with Planning team on SLD readiness and implementation.
• Support site safety checks and ensure compliance with LTA requirements.
• Provide on-site support for fibre network operations and circuit rectification.
