Qualifications

• Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, including emergency restoration works.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fibre cables and pipes for new developments and backbone fibre networks, ensuring works meet engineering standards and target dates.
• Carry out fibre network maintenance, troubleshooting, fibre splicing and testing, including emergency breakdown and service restoration.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, Planning teams, developers and public bodies on fibre installation works, site meetings and project requirements.
• Verify contractor claims, material vouchers and job completion to support timely vendor payments.
• Provide on-site support, ensure compliance with WHSA and LTA safety requirements, and identify potential site hazards.
• Support fibre network operations and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
