Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Electrical/Power Engineer to accurately configure EMS and SCADA assets across power and gas systems in Singapore. You will manage EMS/EMSS databases, ensure data integrity, and support system monitoring and control while collaborating with engineers on infrastructure and OT/M&E support.

The role emphasizes automation of internal processes and occasional ad-hoc duties, with a Singaporean-only eligibility requirement.

Qualifications

• Experience with EMS/SCADA or power system operations is preferred.
• Degree in Electrical/Power Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with OT and M&E supporting systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Configure generation facilities and transmission assets in EMS/EMSS displays.
• Update EMS/EMSS databases to bolster system awareness for operators.
• Ensure data integrity and support effective system monitoring and control.
• Assist engineers in managing supporting infrastructure and facilities to maintain high system availability.
• Support OT and M&E facilities and related systems.
• Help automate internal processes to increase efficiency.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for accurately configuring generation facilities and transmission network assets across power and gas systems, ensuring data integrity and enabling effective system monitoring and control.

What You Will Do

• EMS/EMSS Database Management
• Manage and update EMS and EMSS databases and displays to bolster situational awareness for power system operators
• Accurately configure generation facilities and transmission network assets of power and gas systems in EMS and EMSS databases and displays
• Ensure data integrity and support effective system monitoring and control
• Infrastructure Support
• Assist engineers in managing supporting infrastructure and facilities to maintain high system availability
• Support ancillary equipment, including Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) facilities and Operational Technology (OT) supporting systems
• Process Improvement
• Assist the department in automating internal processes related to operations and daily business-as-usual work to increase efficiency
• Support other ad-hoc duties as required

What We Are Looking For

• Singaporean Only.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience with Energy Management Systems (EMS), SCADA, or power system operations preferred.
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) and M&E supporting systems advantageous.
