Job summary

Murata Machinery Singapore Pte. Ltd. invites engineers to join its Clean Factory Automation team to install, maintain and troubleshoot AMHS in cleanrooms. You will report to the project site for most hours and collaborate with customers and subcontractors to ensure project schedules are met.

Entry-level candidates are welcome; on-the-job training will be provided, with a focus on developing skills in automated material handling systems and site safety in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum ITE Diploma in an engineering-related discipline.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
• Demonstrate teamwork, a positive attitude, and adaptability to learn new skills.
• Ability to assess work situations and plan tasks to meet project schedules.
• Some experience with AMHS equipment is a significant advantage.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome; on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and calibrate AMHS equipment during the initial project phase to ensure proper system setup.
• Conduct regular inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance to sustain AMHS performance after installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AMHS issues promptly to minimize system downtime.
• Coordinate with customers to schedule jobs and provide timely updates on work progress.
• Supervise subcontractors performing installation and mechanical modifications to ensure quality and compliance.

Job Summary
