Job summary

HSBC in Singapore seeks an Associate Director, Premier Elite (Onshore) to lead wealth management delivery for premier clients onshore. You will collaborate with investment, insurance, treasury specialists to offer holistic solutions and actively source new business through your network to generate New to Bank leads.

You will provide ongoing market updates, perform market analysis, and deliver tailored financial planning and advisory services.

Qualifications

• Strong academic qualifications and advanced knowledge in Wealth Management with a proven track record of managing clients’ portfolio (Premier banking).
• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills to work individually and with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with Wealth Management team to provide holistic solutions for onshore Premier clients.
• Self-source and develop new business; prospect for new clients and referrals to generate New-to-Bank leads.
• Collaborate with wealth corporate account manager to acquire EBS clients.
• Provide premier clients with regular market updates and tailored wealth management recommendations.
• Perform market analysis to identify client leads and opportunities; ensure portfolio quality.
• Provide financial planning and advisory services aligned to clients’ needs and risk profile.
• Proactively manage relationships to deepen client engagement and grow the book.
• Understand clients’ banking needs and recommend suitable solutions for an exceptional HSBC experience.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Associate Director, Premier Elite (Onshore)

In this role you will:

• Working closely with other members of the Wealth Management team, such as investment, insurance, treasury specialists to provide holistic solutions to our onshore banking premier clients
• Demonstrate strong ability to self-source, develop new business by actively prospecting for new clients and referrals, and leveraging your existing network to generate New to Bank leads
• Work closely and collaboratively with wealth corporate account manager to acquire EBS clients
• Provide premier clients with regular market updates, endeavoring to understand our clients’ financial needs and recommending appropriate wealth management products accordingly
• Perform market analysis to identify potential client leads and opportunities, ensuring portfolio quality and broad basing of solutions
• Provide financial planning and advisory services aligning to clients’ needs and investment profile
• Embarking on a proactive relationship management to strengthen and deepen relationship with existing customers, hence building a strong foundation for customer growth
• Understand customers’ banking and financial needs and recommend suitable solutions to meet these needs, providing an exceptional client experience in line with HSBC proposition requirements

To be successful you will need:

• Strong academic qualifications and advance knowledge in Wealth Management with a proven track record of managing clients’ portfolio (Premier banking)
• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills to be able to work individually as well as to collaborate with stakeholders to meet the needs of these clients
