Job summary

Aon in Singapore is seeking an Associate Director - Claims to lead end-to-end claims processing, manage complex loss scenarios, and coordinate with brokers, clients and internal teams.

The role requires deep multi-class expertise, strong analytical ability, and leadership to drive efficiency and foster strong relationships with stakeholders, while guiding claims professionals across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in Case Management, Claims Processing and Claims Resolution.
• Expertise in Client Relationship Management and Customer Relationship Management.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing and meeting facilitation.
• Ability to conduct effective claims training and research.
• Track record of performance and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• System processing of claims (new loss, update status, payment) as per KPI in Workday and Claims Manual.
• Specialization in at least two classes of business and developing secondary technical skills in others.
• Analyse and review coverage issues and flag important reinsurance conditions to client.
• Perform claims advocacy on contentious, complex and high-profile losses.
• Record and share claim success stories with brokers and RFP team.
• Engage with client, broking department, loss adjuster, legal counsel, reinsurer, and Aon network office to build relationships.
• Familiarize with Aon tools such as Claims BI and ReView for Colleagues.
• Coordinate sustainability of Aon Claims Copilot initiatives.
• Coordinate with credit control to ensure large paid claims are collected as per KPI.
• Provide claims statistics to various business units as required.
• Initiate and oversee projects related to claims efficiency and best practices.
• Conduct regular meetings with HOD and team for knowledge sharing.
• Undertake other works as assigned by HOD. Business travel as required.

What The Day Will Look Like

• System processing of Claims (new loss, update status, payment) as per agreed KPI in Workday and Claims Manual
• Specialization in at least 2 classes of business and develop secondary technical skills in other classes of business
• Analyse and review coverage issues and flag important reinsurance conditions to client
• Perform claims advocacy role on all lines of business pertaining to contentious, complex and high-profile losses
• Record and share claim success stories with brokers and RFP team
• Regular engagement with client, broking department, independent expert (i.e. loss adjuster, legal counsel etc), reinsurer, Aon network office and head of CSD to build strong and sustainable working relationship
• Familiarization with utilizing of Aon tools e.g. Claims BI and ReView for Colleagues
• Coordinate and contribute to the sustainability of Aon Claims Copilot initiatives
• Coordinate with credit control team, to ensure large paid claims are collected promptly as per agreed KPI
• Provide claims statistics to various business units as required
• Initiate and oversee project relating to claims efficiency and best practices

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• Proven experience in Case Management, Claims Processing, Claims Resolution & Technical Accounting within the insurance broking industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in Client Relationship Management and Customer Relationship Management.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Report Writing and Meeting Facilitation.
• Ability to conduct effective Claims Training and Researching.
• Track record of successfully implementing Performance Improvements and Process Improvements.
• Proficiency in Document Management systems and practices.
