Job summary

Allen & Gledhill LLP in Singapore is seeking a Singapore-qualified lawyer with an interest or background in corporate real estate to join our multidisciplinary team. You will work alongside experienced lawyers, and our regional network enables handling regional real estate transactions.

Qualifications

• Singapore-qualified lawyer with 1–3 PQE preferred.
• Prior corporate real estate experience is an advantage.

We are looking for a Singapore qualified lawyer who has an interest or background in corporate real estate to join our multidisciplinary team.

About the Role:

You will work alongside experienced lawyers, and, together with our associate firm in Malaysia, regional office in Myanmar, alliance in Indonesia, and network of top-tier law firms across Asia, we have the broad capability to act as transaction counsel, leading, structuring, and overseeing our clients' real estate transactions throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review and negotiate real estate and development documentation, including sale and purchase agreements, leases, project and management agreements
• Assist with real estate transactions, including direct and indirect acquisitions and divestments, from due diligence and transaction structuring through to documentation and completion
• Conduct legal due diligence and assist in identifying and assessing legal and commercial risks arising from property acquisitions, developments and investments.
• Assist in advising on and negotiating commercial leasing matters
• Support joint venture and investment structures for mixed-use and other large-scale real estate projects, including the preparation and review of joint venture and related transaction documents.
• Assist with regulatory advice, including matters relating to land use, development approvals and other regulatory requirements applicable to commercial, industrial, logistics and residential developments.

Requirements:

• Singapore-qualified lawyer (1-3 PQE preferred)
• Prior experience in corporate real estate is an advantage
• Good drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and teamwork
• Comfortable managing multiple matters and working under timelines
