Bird & Bird ATMD LLP in Singapore is seeking a Singapore-qualified lawyer with 2-3 years PQE to join our Corporate team. The role covers corporate secretarial governance, M&A, JVs, collaborations and commercial contracts with a cross-border dimension.

You will be mentored by experienced practitioners and work in a collegial, collaborative environment, developing both technical legal skills and professional maturity in a dynamic, innovation-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Singapore qualified lawyer with 2-3 years PQE focusing on corporate and commercial matters.
• Experience across corporate secretarial & governance, M&A, JVs, collaborations and commercial contracts and regulatory matters.

Responsabilités

• Flexibility in supporting cases across a broad range of matters
• Ability to manage own case load, aspects of complex matters and clients, with proven negotiation skills
• Possess initiative and resourcefulness
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to summarise complex issues succinctly, both verbally and in writing
• Willingness and ability to support business development activity, creating and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
• Ability to contribute to the general upkeep of the group (training, precedents, know-how)
• Willingness to undertake pro-bono work and additional duties from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department

We are looking for a Singapore qualified lawyer of 2-3 years PQE, to be part of and grow with, our Corporate team focusing on a range of corporate and commercial matters ranging from corporate secretarial & governance, M&A, JVs, collaborations and commercial contracts and regulatory matters.
