Job summary

Hegen is seeking an Associate, Business Production Planner (Manufacturing) to translate customer demand into effective production plans for finished goods and sub-assemblies. You will coordinate demand, supply, inventory, and capacity while ensuring timely fulfilment of customised HBMs, including printing and quality control.

You will work with Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Logistics teams to maintain schedules, manage orders and monitor service levels and lead times.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Manufacturing, Production Planning or related field preferred.
  • Experience in production planning and scheduling within manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience in production planning, supply planning, inventory planning or manufacturing operations advantageous.
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems to manage work orders, monitor material requirements and track progress advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, replenishment planning, safety stock, capacity planning, service levels and lead times advantageous.
  • Strong planning, analytical, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate production output for finished goods and sub-assemblies based on orders, forecasts, inventory and capacity.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules, adjust priorities to meet service levels and lead times.
  • Support demand and supply planning balancing customer requirements with material availability and capacity.
  • Support material requirements and replenishment planning ensuring timely availability of materials and packaging.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock availability and safety stock to minimise excess or obsolete stock.
  • Monitor production capacity, supply constraints, shortages and backorders; escalate and adjust plans.
  • Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Logistics on changes, priorities and delivery timelines.
  • Manage and process HBM orders ensuring products are customised per customer specifications.
  • Execute service-level manufacturing activities within agreed turnaround times.
  • Monitor planning and fulfilment performance and support continuous improvement.

Job description

The Associate, Business Production Planner (Manufacturing) will be a key member of the Supply Chain Management team, playing an essential role in driving production planning and fulfilment activities for Hegen By Me (HBM), our bespoke product personalisation service. In this role, you will be responsible for translating customer demand and business requirements into effective production plans, ensuring that finished goods and sub-assemblies are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and within agreed service levels and lead times.

You will work closely with internal teams to coordinate demand and supply requirements, production schedules, material availability, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity. You will also be involved in the day-to-day execution of HBM manufacturing activities, including product customisation, personalisation, printing, quality control, and fulfilment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules, adjusting priorities to meet changing demand, agreed service levels, and lead times.

  • Monitor inventory levels, stock availability, safety stock, and inventory health to support production requirements while minimising excess or obsolete stock.

  • Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to coordinate order changes, production priorities, shortages, and delivery timelines.
  • Manage and process HBM orders, ensuring products are customised and personalised accurately according to customer specifications.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Manufacturing, Production Planning, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience in production planning, supply planning, inventory planning, or manufacturing operations will be advantageous.
