Job summary

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd (Singapore Branch) is seeking an Associate AI Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of AI and ML solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive operational efficiency. You will work with Data Scientists and business stakeholders, gaining hands-on experience with ML models, generative AI, AI agents, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in AI, ML or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
• Familiarity with API frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions for business challenges.
• Collaborate with teams to gather data and define requirements.
• Build, test, and maintain ML models with structured/unstructured data.
• Develop Generative AI apps like chatbots, copilots, AI agents, document intelligence.
• Assist deployment/monitoring of AI on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Contribute to data prep, feature engineering, model evaluation, and optimization.
• Develop and maintain APIs/integrations to operationalize models/services.
• Support model observability and production reliability.
• Collaborate with Data/Platform Engineers to improve AI/data infra.
• Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and best practices.
