Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore seeks a diploma-trained Fab technician to analyze inline defect data and support defect-related tool actions. You will troubleshoot process tools, review YDD lots, and ensure OOC holds for troubleshooting, while collaborating with yield engineering and TD groups.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of fab experience, strong communication, and are willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related technical field.
• 1–3 years of Fab experience; fresh diploma holders are welcome.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating night shifts; reliable and proactive.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze in-line defect data from inspection and SEM review tools.
• Troubleshoot and shutdown the affected process tools based on data analysis.
• Perform review and lot disposition for YDD inspected lots.
• Ensure OOC lots are on hold for troubleshooting.
• Support process modules, yield engineering, and TD groups for inline defect support.
• Check daily YDD scan map and OOC points from SPC charts.
• Oversee overall WIP control management.
• Create recipes for defect inspection tools Rudolph and KLA (Brightfield, Darkfield).
• Adhere to Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
