Job summary

GLOBALFOUNDRIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. - FAB 7 seeks a Contamination Free Manufacturing Assoc Eng to monitor AMC detection systems and maintain cleanroom environments, working 12-hour day/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• As a shift lead in daily operation related to any cleanroom environment issues.
• Work and align with module to troubleshoot the source of contamination for any AMC & mechanical alarms.
• Analysis of charts to identify the root cause of contamination for any uptick or baseline drift that would be caused by internal or external.
• Lead and guide the technician/ operator to perform activities other than routine job.
• Prepare incident report with root cause finding for any AMC & mechanical alarms.
• Escalate to modules for environmental CAS activation based on the defined alarm escalation guideline if any AMC & Mech alarm triggered.
• Ensure hardware & software of monitoring systems are performing normal and taking appropriate action proactively to resolve issues with the system.
• Plan & follow up the annual calibration & PM arrangement of AMC systems and Mini-E measurement tools with vendor.
• Perform hardware parts change and replacement for AMC detection systems.

As a Contamination Free Manufacturing Assoc Eng, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and planning of Airborne Molecular Contamination (AMC) detection systems are working well to ensure cleanroom environment and process tool mini-environment are within control and free from contamination. You will be able to apply knowledge of airborne molecular contamination, volatile organic compound, particulate, humidity and temperature to mitigate potential excursions in order to minimize the impact of excursion on production wafers due to environmental changes. Expect to regularly interact with Facilities, chemical lab personnel, modules equipment, and contractors in order to fulfill various requests, information and troubleshooting if any environmental alarms triggered. This role will assist engineer to monitoring fab environment and prevent environmental excursions if any. This position requires a candidate who can work in 12 hours shift (day/night), excel whether working independently or as part of team.
