Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is hiring an Assistant Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Manager to lead a busy warehouse in Tuas. You will oversee operations, drive process improvements, and manage a team to ensure accurate stocking, tagging, and efficient picking.

The role requires 8–10 years in construction warehouse environments and relevant certifications. You'll utilize AutoCAD and MS Office, plan on-site activities, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural/Building Engineering/Supply Chain/Logistics or related field.
• 8–10 years of warehouse inventory management experience in construction industries.
• BCSS and CAPM certifications are preferred by MOM.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office required.
• Able to plan/coordinate work on site.

• S$7,000 higher + Transport Allowance + Variable Bonus

• Provides interior decoration and finishing services

• Supports building repair and upgrading projects

Our Client, a construction company specialising in building works, interior finishing, flooring, doors, windows, and building repair and upgrading services, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as Assistant Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for overseeing the entire warehouse and ensure it meets the operational requirements and standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements

• Supervise a warehouse team and make sure works carried out efficiently and effectively such as: materials are properly tagged, in correct location & stored orderly, maximizing space but with a view for easy picking and stock checking

Inventory Control:

• Proficient in the fundamentals of people management. Create a strong positive culture and engagement within the warehouse team

• Perform quarterly inventory check with target of no discrepancies

• Investigate root-cause of operation incidents and stock discrepancies and make recommendations to management

• Maintaining cleanliness of warehouse and 5S (housekeeping) in warehouse

• Comply with safety regulations and security measures for warehouse operations

• Carry out duties or ad hoc projects that may be assigned by Director or CEO

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil / Structural/ Building Engineering/Supply Chain/Logistic and any field

• At least 8-10 years of managing warehouse inventory in construction industries

• Preferably to have BCSS (Building Construction Supervisors Safety), CAPM (Certified associate in project management) certified by MOM etc.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office

• Able to plan/ coordinate work on site

• Certificate for safety course for Project Management certificate

OTHER INFORMATION:

• Location : Tuas

• Working Days/Hours : Monday to Friday (Office Hours)

• Salary: S$7,000 higher (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
