Liberty in Asia Pacific is seeking an Assistant Underwriter to contribute to growth and profitability through pre-underwriting, marketing and handling standard risks under defined authority. You will support the team in reviewing and pricing, and help develop selling strategies for specialty lines.

You will build relationships with producers and clients, assist with policy terms, and participate in market plans and audits while maintaining Liberty's service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in General (non-Life) Insurance.
• Experience with brokers or insurance company alignment.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Pursuing ACII/AAII or equivalent preferred.
• Tertiary qualification desirable.

Responsabilités

• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with producers and clients to facilitate marketing and sale of Liberty brand and products.
• Assisting underwriting team in reviewing, rating and underwriting target new and renewal business.
• Developing selling and negotiation strategies to contribute to profitability.
• Ensuring producers and clients receive high underwriting service differentiating Liberty.
• Providing input into product development and marketing plans including market research.
