Job summary

Oceanlink Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking a committed Marine Engineer to oversee the vessel's engine department in Singapore.

The role includes coordinating maintenance, repairs, and drydocking, as well as ensuring compliance with Class surveys and inspections. The candidate should hold a Diploma in Marine Engineering and be able to work independently. Reporting to the company, you will monitor and update the PMS and handle additional tasks as assigned, contributing to safe and efficient ship

Qualifications

• Diploma in Marine Eng or equivalent experience.
• Able to work independently.
• Minimum 3rd Engineer certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the vessel's engine department.
• Monitor the ship’s Class Survey, routine inspections and third party inspections.
• Coordinate and attend to technical matters for ship upkeep, maintenance, operation and performance including repairs and drydocking.
• Monitor and update ship PMS (Plan Maintenance System).
• Handle other tasks as assigned by the Company.

Job responsibilities:

3. 3. Coordinate and attend to all technical matters pertaining to ship upkeep maintenance, operation and performance including repairs and drydocking.
4. 4. Monitoring and updating ship’s technical Plan Maintenance System (PMS).
5. 5. Any other tasks assigned by the Company from time to time.
