Job summary

REERACOEN SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Sourcing Manager in East Singapore to lead RFQ activities, manage BOMs, and develop supplier strategies.

You will work closely with BD and Program teams to ensure competitive quotations and data-driven decisions in a dynamic EMS environment. The role requires 5+ years in sourcing, strong electronics knowledge, ERP familiarity, and readiness to travel to Batam.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Electronics or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in a sourcing role with strong EMS/electronics knowledge.
• Familiar with sourcing electronic commodities, vendor management and the supply market.
• Strong leadership and ability to negotiate and sustain relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiar with Infor ERP or other ERP systems.
• Willingness to travel (Batam, 2-3 times per month).
• Able to join on short notice.

Assistant Sourcing Manager (Ref: 37656) , East Singapore

Our client is a well-established multinational company in the electronics manufacturing sector, renowned for delivering high-quality solutions to global clients. They are currently seeking a Assistant Sourcing Manager to join their esteemed organisation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Business Development and Program teams to understand and support customers' RFQ requirements and expectations.
• Lead and manage the entire RFQ process, including sourcing activities, supplier quotation analysis, cost comparison, and proposal submission to the Business Development and Program teams.
• Manage Bill of Materials (BOM), including validation, costing, system encoding, and conducting regular BOM health checks to ensure data accuracy.
• Develop and execute the annual supplier audit plan.
• Review, analyze, and update Purchase Price Variance (PPV) reports.
• Organize and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with strategic suppliers to drive continuous business improvement and strengthen supplier performance.
• Validate and maintain procurement master data, including pricing, MOQ, SPQ, lead time, item categories, supplier information, payment terms, and credit limits.
• Conduct commodity analysis, develop sourcing strategies, prepare spend forecasts, and manage sole-source and customer-designated suppliers.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies while negotiating pricing, commercial terms, and supply agreements with suppliers.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal performance, quality, cost, and delivery.

Requirements & Preferences

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Electronics, or related discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in a sourcing role and strong electronic product knowledge within the EMS industry
• Familiarity with sourcing electronic commodities (market condition/MFR product, technology), vendor management, and the supply market.
• Strong leadership and ability to negotiate, articulate, and sustain working relationships with all parties.
• Comfortable with figures and analyzing and interpreting data for decision-making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiar with the Infor ERP system or other ERP systems
• Comfortable traveling when required (mostly to Batam, 2-3 times a month)
• Ability to join on short notice
