CHINA MERCHANTS BANK CO., LTD is seeking a proactive wealth management support professional in Singapore. You will coordinate with Product Development, Operations and other teams to ensure smooth execution of trades and superior client service.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in finance or related fields, are fluent in Mandarin and English, and thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Sound understanding of economics, market practices and investment products.
• Proficiency in Mandarin in addition to English to serve China-based customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Product Development, Operations and other counterparts on a daily basis.
• Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC), AML processes and documentation.
• Assist Relationship Manager with investment market updates, placement and execution of OTC and listed trades.
• Provide administrative support to Relationship Manager, maintain client transaction records/reports and client data.
• Oversee dealing infrastructure/processes/systems for investment products; manage sales documents, product agreements and SLAs.
• Ensure superior customer service and contribute to overall customer experience.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Product Development teams, Operations and other functional counterparts on daily basis.
• Conduct all required Know Your Customer (KYC), AML process, procedures and documentation.
• Assist Relationship Manager in providing the periodic investment market updates, placement and execution of the OTC and listed investment trades covering FX, bonds, equities, funds and structured products.
• Provide administrative and client support to Relationship Manager, include maintaining and updating client transaction records/ reports as well as client data.
• Have an oversight on the dealing infrastructure / processes / systems for the investment products, and be responsible for all sales documentations, product agreements, and service level agreements.
• Ensure superior customer service is delivered and contribute to the overall customer experience of the Bank.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Sound understanding of economics, best market practices and investment products in the wealth management business.
• Business proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin besides English so as to serve China based customers.
• Willingness to work under a dynamic environment, multi-tasking skills to handle tight and short assignment and to meet project deadlines.
