Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent.
• CACS Paper 1 and 2 certification required.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in client servicing and/or sales operations; private banking experience advantageous.
• Fluent in English; Chinese language skills required for North Asia/Greater China market.

Responsibilities

• Open accounts, prepare documentation and general instructions.
• Process credit approvals, investment and deposit transactions.
• Execute clients’ instructions and inform RMs of irregularities.
• Manage daily operational tasks and client enquiries.
• Ensure compliance with Bank policies and legal requirements.
• Serve as key contact for client inquiries and perform controls-related duties.
• Support RMs in portfolio administration and documentation.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Job description

As a Wealth Management generalist, the Client Service Officer (CSO) / Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) works within a CSO team under the responsibility of a Client Service Manager (CSM) whereby the team works within the EAM Desk. You will be supporting supporting one or more Relationship Managers (RM) in the administrative and operational management of their clientele portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

To discharge his/her following responsibilities in full compliance with the Bank’s Code of Conduct and Procedures:

• Open accounts, prepare documentation and general instructions;
• Process credit approvals, investment and deposit transactions;
• Execute clients’ instructions;
• Effect transactions on behalf of clients and informs relationship managers and clients of any irregularities according to account documentation or general instruction;
• Ensure that private banking transactions comply with the Bank’s policies and legal requirements;
• Key contact for clients’ enquires on daily operational basis;
• Conduct controls-related duties (eg. call-back, etc); and
• Assume any other tasks as assigned.

Key Requirements

• University degree or equivalent
• Additional certification such as CACS Paper 1 and 2 is required
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in client servicing and/or sales operations, private banking experience will be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as Chinese due to market coverage which requires regular dealings with native-speaking clients across North Asia/Greater China region.
