Job summary

Maybank Singapore is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to support our Commercial Banking business. You will work closely with Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers to deliver seamless client servicing, facilitate account and loan-related activities, and ensure smooth operational support for our growing customer base.

Responsibilities include account opening, KYC coordination, customer inquiries, loan processing, and administrative duties to maintain efficient business

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to multitask.
• Good understanding of banking operations, client servicing and documentation requirements.
• Experience in a banking support role preferred, with at least 2 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate account opening and maintenance, including documentation review and KYC coordination.
• Support clients with internet banking, payments, and day-to-day banking needs.
• Assist with CRRD preparation, searches and name screening requirements.
• Support Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers with client servicing and documentation.
• Coordinate loan drawdowns, rollovers and post-approval matters.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Assistant Relationship Manager to support our Commercial Banking business. In this role, you will work closely with Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers to deliver seamless client servicing, facilitate account and loan-related activities, and ensure a high standard of operational support for our growing customer base.

Responsibilities:-

• Facilitate account opening and account maintenance activities, including documentation review, customer verification, KYC screening and coordination with internal stakeholders
• Support clients on internet banking, payment services, account-related enquiries and other day-to-day banking needs
• Assist with Customer Risk Rating Dashboard (CRRD) preparation, searches and name screening requirements
• Support Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers with client servicing, documentation and operational matters
• Facilitate loan drawdowns, rollovers and related post-approval matters, ensuring timely processing and coordination with internal teams
• Coordinate fixed deposit placements, withdrawals, form processing, courier arrangements and document management
• Handle customer enquiries professionally via phone, email and in-person interactions
• Support administrative and ad-hoc duties to ensure smooth business operations.

Requirements:-

• Diploma qualification/ Degree holder with at least 2 years experience in a similar banking support role
• Good understanding of banking operations, client servicing and documentation requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
