Job summary

City Energy Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead gas installation projects from design through commissioning, developing deep technical knowledge and preparing for future leadership roles in regulatory and plan approval.

You will coordinate schedules, budgets, and contractor engagement, ensure safety and regulator compliance, and drive process improvements through digitalization and UAT initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, utilities, gas or infrastructure-related industries.
• Knowledge of gas installation, technical drawings and regulatory/compliance requirements is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Job description

What you will be doing:

a. Project Management

• Lead and supervise Project Coordinators in managing gas installation projects from design through commissioning.

• Coordinate technical drawing submissions, amendments and approvals.
  

b. Technical & Regulatory Compliance

• Support technical plan assessment and approval activities.

• Review technical drawing and engineering submissions for compliance with relevant technical standards and regulatory requirement.

• Liaise with regulatory authorities on compliance and approval matters.

c. Contractor Management & Process Improvement

• Monitor and analyze contractor performance and penalty frameworks to drive service quality.

• Support system enhancement, UAT, digitalization process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

What we are looking for:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, utilities, gas or infrastructure-related industries.

• Knowledge of gas installation, technical drawings and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements will be an advantage.
