Job summary

Oaktree Consulting in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee infrastructure/system integration projects from initiation to delivery. You will lead the project team, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and align contractual requirements with project objectives.

The role requires strong client-facing communication, risk management, and familiarity with government procurement processes. Travel may be required; Singaporeans only will apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience on medium to large-scale infrastructure/system integration projects.
• Strong client-facing, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the project to ensure it is completed on time, within budget and meets all contractual requirements.
• Lead and manage the project team.
• Interpret contract and extract essential information to manage objectives with the team.
• Identify contractual system requirements and deliverables; manage timelines for designs and reviews.
• Analyze project materials and services to optimize cost and manage risk.
• Coordinate, monitor and supervise resources to ensure project objectives are met.
• Provide regular project reports/updates to customers and management.
• Monitor payment milestones to ensure timely billing per plan.

• . Able to interpret contract and extract all essential information efficiently to facilitate effective management of project objectives and fulfilments together with the project team
• . Identify all contractual system requirements and deliverables and be responsible for managing deliverable timelines for all contractual system designs and reviews
• . Analyze and define all project materials and service purchases based on cost optimization and appropriate risk management
• . Perform day to day coordination, risk management, liaison, control and supervision of resources including all project team members, sub-contractors, internal and external project related parties and customers to ensure that the project meets its objectives
• . Provide regular project reports/updates to customers, internal departments and management
• . Monitor all payment milestones to ensure timely billing in accordance to the planned schedule

Qualities We Value

• . Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications Engineering, or equivalent
• . Proven project management experiences (minimum 5 years) in managing medium to large scale projects relating to infrastructure / system integration
• . Possesses positive working attitude, innovative problem-solving, critical thinking, presentation and negotiation skills
• . Excellent client-facing and internal/external communication skills, self-driven, results and customer-oriented
• . Solid organization skills including attention to details and multi-tasking skills
• . Technical experience in satellite communications network and equipment preferred
• . Experience in delivering projects for the defence sector is highly desired
• . Familiarity with the Singapore Government procurement and governance processes will be an added advantage
• . Candidates with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
