Job summary

ACP Metal Finishing Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to support and manage daily production operations in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

You will oversee production lines, drive process improvements, and ensure schedules align with QA/QC, NDT, Sales, and customer requirements. Maintain safety, 5S, and proper chemical handling while coordinating staffing and maintenance across the plant.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
• 7–10 years in aerospace production shopfloor.
• 3+ years in aerospace supervisory roles.
• 3+ years chemical processing experience (anodizing, electroplating, chemical cleaning).

Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking and improving operational KPIs to meet company targets
• Oversee day-to-day operations of production lines, production control & planning
• Manage manpower allocation, chemical processing activities, and equipment maintenance
• Ensure production schedules align with Technical, QA/QC, NDT, Sales, and customer requirements
• Maintain effective communication across all departments to ensure operational alignment
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, efficiency, and production output
• Ensure efficient plant and equipment operations with the production team
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and safety committee requirements
• Maintain 5S housekeeping, safe working conditions, and proper chemical handling and waste disposal
• Support staffing requirement planning and workforce allocation across production lines
