Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking an Assistant Process Engineer to support the process engineering team on manufacturing operations. You will monitor performance, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement across the production line.

The role requires collaboration with operators, technicians, maintenance and quality teams, with a focus on yield improvement, process stability and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cleanroom manufacturing or process engineering environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a shift-based production environment.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, SPC and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process performance and production indicators.
• Collect, organize, and analyze process data to support engineering decisions.
• Support troubleshooting of process issues, defects and equipment deviations.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in process improvement and optimization activities.
• Support validation, qualification and change implementation activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure safety, quality and SOP compliance.
• Support shift handovers and communicate open issues to the engineering team.
• Perform additional engineering tasks as assigned by supervisors or senior engineers.
