Job summary

ST Engineering invites applications for the role of Assistant Operations Centre Engineer, on a 12-hour shift contract, located in Changi. You will monitor and manage IT and network infrastructure, respond to incidents, and support continuous availability and performance of critical systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform routine maintenance, and contribute to service improvements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Infocomm Technology or equivalent.
• Able to work 12-hour shift including weekends or Public Holiday.
• Open to contract, renewal

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and escalate real-time operation events.
• Maintain and monitor IT/network infrastructure in the operations centre.
• Coordinate incident response and ensure service availability.
• Perform MAC first responder for system defects.
• Update PM/CM logs.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and chat for defect coordination.

As an Assistant Operations Centre Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and supporting the operational performance of IT and network infrastructure within the operations centre. Your duties include proactively identifying and resolving system faults, coordinating incident response, and maintaining service availability and performance. You will work closely with other technical teams to ensure smooth operations, perform routine maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential to effectively manage operational challenges and support business objectives.

• Monitor various alarm alerts, activation of response team and prepare reports upon completion of operation.
• Perform as MAC first responder for any systems defects
• Perform inbound and outbound calls/group chat for defects coordination

• Any other duties / jobs assigned by supervisor.
