Job summary

People Profilers Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Nurse Clinician to provide clinical leadership and operational support, rotating with a Nurse Clinician as needed in Toa Payoh, Singapore.

The role emphasizes supervision, mentoring, case discussions, and participation in multidisciplinary meetings to enhance patient care and service delivery. Strong leadership, judgement and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with at least 7 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute hospital and/or community care setting.
• Advanced Diploma in Nursing (any discipline).
• Demonstrated good performance with no active performance improvement plans or disciplinary issues.
• Demonstrates leadership potential, good clinical judgement, effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and coaching to nurses in safe, high-quality patient care.
• Support triaging of referrals and participate in case discussions for timely care planning.
• Attend departmental and multidisciplinary meetings and assist with operations and administration.
• Respond to and manage clinical escalations from team nurses, providing guidance.
• Monitor nursing practices, workload distribution and resource utilisation; suggest improvements.
• Assist in developing and implementing community nursing guidelines and SOPs.
• Support staff performance management and competency development.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits and projects to enhance outcomes and patient safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting officer.

Job description

In addition to providing home nursing services, the incumbent will support one of the Nurse Clinicians (on a rotational basis, where applicable) in clinical leadership and operational responsibilities.

These include, but are not limited to:

• Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and coaching to nurses in the delivery of safe, quality and evidence-based patient care.
• Support the triaging of referrals and participate in case discussions to facilitate timely and appropriate care planning.
• Attend departmental and multidisciplinary meetings, and assist with operational and administrative matters.
• Respond to and manage clinical escalations from team nurses, providing guidance and support where required.
• Monitor nursing practices, workload distribution and resource utilisation, and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery.
• Assist in the development, review and implementation of community nursing guidelines, clinical protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Support staff performance management by identifying learning and development needs, facilitating competency development and promoting continuous professional growth.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits and projects to enhance clinical outcomes and patient safety.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the reporting officer.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with at least 7 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute hospital and/or community care setting.
• Possess at least an Advanced Diploma in Nursing (any discipline).
