Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore's Changi area is seeking a microbiology lab assistant to gain hands-on experience in routine testing within a global medical device manufacturing environment. You will perform sterility, bioburden, and environmental monitoring tests, handle data entry and documentation, and follow SOPs to ensure traceability in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

Minimum Nitec / Diploma in Microbiology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or related Science disciplines.
Manufacturing laboratory experience preferred.
Familiar with laboratory procedures, SOPs and documentation requirements.
Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine microbiology testing using established procedures and protocols.
Conduct testing such as sterility, bioburden, aseptic filtration and environmental monitoring.
Perform environmental collection and testing, as well as testing of in-process solutions.
Perform accurate data entry for routine microbiology testing.
Follow established work instructions and SOPs when carrying out laboratory activities.
Ensure proper documentation and traceability of testing information.
Record relevant information accurately in device history records.
Assist with testing validation and revalidation activities for critical systems and equipment under supervision.
Maintain compliance with laboratory and manufacturing quality requirements.
