Job summary

Mandai Wildlife Group in Singapore is seeking a skilled HR professional to design and oversee talent and leadership development programmes for identified employee groups, including emerging leaders and high-potential employees.

You will partner with HR colleagues and business leaders to deliver practical development experiences, manage talent reviews and succession planning, and drive process improvements with dashboards and data.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Organisational Development or a related discipline.
  • Around 6 years of relevant experience in HR disciplines such as talent management, leadership development, learning and development, organisational development or related people development work.
  • Experience in delivering and managing development programmes, talent reviews, succession planning, talent and leadership development initiatives, facilitation, project management or people-related processes from planning through to implementation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with HR teams, business leaders, vendors and programme participants.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify information for different audiences.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and results-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a broader HR team.
  • Professional HR or related certifications, such as IHRP, coaching, facilitation, change management, project management or other relevant certifications, would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, development, coordination, delivery and continuous improvement of talent and leadership development programmes for identified employee groups, including emerging leaders, high-potential employees, people managers and nominated talent groups.
  • Partner with HR colleagues, HR Business Partners, business leaders and external partners to deliver practical development experiences, gather capability needs and propose solutions that are relevant to business and learner needs.
  • Lead the coordination talent engagement activities, individual development planning, talent review, calibration and succession planning processes, including preparing relevant data, assessment inputs, discussion materials and follow-through actions.
  • Maintain accurate talent and succession records, use systems, dashboards and reports to support tracking and updates, and identify opportunities to streamline, automate or digitalise processes where this improves clarity, efficiency and stakeholder experience.
  • Support the development and enhancement of resources and toolkits that help people managers lead, coach, give feedback and build engaged teams.
  • Manage programme planning, communications, vendor coordination, budget tracking, logistics and evaluation, and prepare clear updates, insights and presentation materials for stakeholder discussions.
  • Stay informed on relevant talent, leadership development and workforce capability practices, and implement practical ideas that could work well for Mandai.

Job description

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
