We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager / Manager to join our Investment and Asset Management team. This person will be responsible for identifying Hotel Management Agreements (HMA) business opportunities, building, and maintaining client relationships and expanding our market presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential targets for HMA projects
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors and potential opportunities for HMA purposes
- Develop financial models, feasibility studies, scenario analysis to support business decision-making
- Prepare effective proposals and responses to RFP’s and other leads
- Assist to prepare compelling recommendation proposals, studies and presentations for senior management
- Support various transactional activities, including conducting deal due diligence, negotiating key terms, and structuring deals
- Lead or assist with the preparation, coordination, circulation and presentation of documents that require approval
- Foster and maintain relationships with relevant internal stakeholders and external advisors, including financial advisers, tax advisers, real estate consultancy firms, law firms, brokers, etc.
- Support other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the wider IAM department, such as Asset Enhancement Initiatives
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a distinguished university in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related fields
- A minimum of 3–4 years of experience for Assistant Manager / 5–6 years for Manager roles in a comparable position within the hospitality sector would be highly advantageous
- Comprehensive analytical and financial skills, emphasizing attention to details and advanced proficiency in financial modelling
- Good presentation abilities, with the capacity to effectively communicate across all levels of seniority including able to translate technicality in layman’s terms
- Ability to balance between a team player and being proactive to take initiative to own, follow-up, and investigate issues
- Capable of sustaining motivation and determination to achieve long-term goals, while also recognizing and celebrating quick wins for initiatives with extended lifespans
- Exhibits resourcefulness and critical thinking skills when handling complex, multi-faceted tasks
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and flexibility to navigate the balance between the ideal world and immediate reality
