Job summary

[What the role is]You will be part of a team within Digital Industry Singapore, a joint office (comprising EDB, ESG and IMDA) that strives to build and develop a vibrant tech ecosystem through partnering with high potential global and local tech companies. Our aim is to make it easy for tech companies and talent to thrive and grow.[What you will be working on]1) Account Development and Management:Develop and manage a portfolio of accounts (companies) in the Infocomm and Technology (ICT) sector. These could range from high growth start-ups to large Singapore-based ICT companies with the potential to be Singapore's Digital Champions, that will create good jobs and contribute to growth in the ICT sector.The scope will include:Engaging C-level and management bench to understand their growth or transformation plans and jointly identify areas of collaboration or intervention with DISGLeading engagements within DISG, as well as across government agencies, user organisations and other stakeholders to navigate & scope key projects, partnerships or pilot deployments to achieve desired outcomes in the account's growth and transformation roadmapLeveraging across the agencies' (EDB, IMDA and ESG) programmes, schemes, incentives and networks to enable and accelerate the development and growth of the accountBeing the Single-Point-of-Contact for the account and key internal and external stakeholdersManaging the administration of the programmes/projects and organise/coordinate related activities for your accountsProviding input, feedback and working with relevant teams and agencies to develop programmes, incentives and policies that may impact the development and growth of Singapore based ICM enterprises2) Growth Engine (Horizontal):Contributing to at least one horizontal growth engine (e.g., markets, emerging technologies such as in AI, Cyber Security and Quantum, talent, digitalisation, etc) and working with relevant teams (including across agencies) to provide inputs or co-develop programmes or policies that will support the growth and development of ICT companies[What we are looking for]Job Requirements4 - 8 years of working experience in the ICT industry and/or account management/business development/management consulting rolesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage senior stakeholders and partner agenciesAble to think critically and analytically to identify and conceptualise the most relevant intervention points and tools to support companies’ growthAble to zoom out and connect the dots to uncover new opportunities for collaboration, and identify potential ecosystem-supporting plays.Good networking skills to build long-term relationships with dynamic companiesProactive self-starter, able to work well in a teamAble to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in a fast-changing environmentExcellent written, verbal communication and presentation skillsPassionate to build and champion the ICM industryBackground in Computer/Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology preferred
