Overview

We are looking for a senior professional to serve as a key liaison between the Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) office and leading technology companies such as Google, Alibaba, Facebook and SAP. In this role you will build and maintain strategic relationships, develop engagement strategies and coordinate cross‑government initiatives that support Singapore’s digital economy. DISG is a joint office of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), Enterprise Singapore and the Infocomm & Media Development Authority (IMDA). Its mandate is to build the industry ecosystem, create jobs and drive internationalisation of local technology firms.

Responsibilities

• Account Management
  • Serve as the main contact for a portfolio of companies.
  • Build trust with key company executives and understand their multi‑faced needs.
  • Plan and execute engagement strategies that align with Singapore’s growth objectives.
  • Identify and negotiate project opportunities that create win‑win outcomes for clients and the country.
  • Collaborate with DISG units and other government agencies to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Industry Analysis and Strategy Development
  • Lead thematic analysis of emerging technology areas such as AI, cybersecurity, talent and infrastructure.
  • Formulate strategies and value propositions that champion Singapore’s digital economy.
  • Co‑develop policy and product/service input for incentive design, trade and other government programmes.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to co‑create partnership solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in technology, account‑management, business development or strategy roles, preferably with public‑sector exposure.
• Experience leading teams at the Assistant Vice‑President level or higher.
• Strong interest in digital industry trends and ability to analyse technological impacts.
• Excellent conceptual, analytical, written and spoken communication skills.
• Proven stakeholder‑management and partnership‑building capabilities.
• Self‑motivated, positive attitude, strong work ethic and team‑player mindset.
• Singaporean citizenship.
