Job summary

Sembcorp Power is seeking a qualified professional to develop and maintain MECOMS functionalities in support of our energy services operations. You will analyze requirements and design robust solutions using MECOMS, APIs, and middleware.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
Experience with MECOMS, CIS, or ERP systems is advantageous.
Strong SQL and relational database skills.
Experience with web services and APIs.
Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/change management.

Responsibilities

Develop, configure, test, and maintain MECOMS functionalities to support business and operational requirements.
Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, solution designs, and system enhancements.
Support customer onboarding, billing, payment processing, collections, metering, and market-related processes within MECOMS.
Troubleshoot and resolve system incidents, defects, and performance issues in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain integrations between MECOMS and upstream/downstream systems using APIs, middleware, databases, or file-based interfaces.
Participate in system upgrades, patches, testing activities, and deployment exercises.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and deliver automation solutions where appropriate.
Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement preventive measures to improve system stability.
Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities during system implementations and enhancement projects.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
Ensure solutions comply with cybersecurity, governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to business users and internal support teams.
