Overview

As an Audit Executive, your main responsibility will involve conducting onshore audits for our member firms by collaborating with them to provide audit support. You will be tasked with ensuring the quality delivery for the onshore engagement team and complying with engagement plans, internal quality, and risk management procedures. Working closely with the onshore in-charge, manager, director, and onshore audit client to execute the audit strategy will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate ESG assurance into financial audits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onshore audits for member firms by collaborating with them to provide audit support.
• Ensure the quality delivery for the onshore engagement team and comply with engagement plans, internal quality, and risk management procedures.
• Work closely with the onshore in-charge, manager, director, and onshore audit client to execute the audit strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate ESG assurance into financial audits.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA/ACCA/CPA with 3-4 years of post-qualification work experience in the commercial sector, Assurance Services, or a similar environment such as Assurance and Accounting firms.
• A basic understanding of ESG reporting standards like GRI, CSRD, SASB, Integrated Reporting, and TCFD; ability to develop strategies addressing sustainability risks.
• Previous experience in ESG reporting, strategy development, assurance, impact assessments, ESG Materiality, and supply chain sustainability is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting guidelines such as CSRD/ESRS and EU Taxonomy; basic understanding of quantification and assessment of ESG impacts, including climate change.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines and demanding client conditions; strong team player with interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High professional ethics; experience supporting the delivery of projects for member firms focusing on sustainability strategy development, reporting, and implementation; strong critical thinking, analytical and decision-making skills; ability to work in a diverse, cross-functional, international environment and different time zones as needed.
• Adaptable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment; self-starter, self-motivated, and capable of working without frequent direct supervision.
