Overview

What the role is: You assist in managing the daily 24/7 mail operations and readiness of the Communication Centre (COMCEN), overseeing the Mail Services Work Centre while maintaining high professional standards.

Responsibilities
  • Account for and maintain all the equipment and tools managed and operated under your charge
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security and fire precautions
  • Provide effective support and guidance to the personnel in the operations
  • Supervise, appraise, develop and motivate subordinates in order to derive optimal performance
  • Plan the training programme for the personnel under your charge to ensure operational proficiency for the work centre\'s effectiveness and responsiveness
  • Assisting the Officer-in-Command in ensuring all 24/7 COMCEN related job requests are completed within the agreed timescales
Qualifications
  • Education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in Logistics and Finance, preferably in the area of audit checks
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to unlearn and relearn
  • Good organisational awareness
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
  • Resourceful and problem-solving skills
