Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance of motorized access equipment on islandwide construction sites.

The role requires coordinating testing and certifications with authorized examiners and professionals, and leading a team of technicians to minimize downtime. The candidate should have a diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering with at least two years in construction or heavy equipment maintenance, plus a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in construction or heavy lifting/equipment rental.
• Direct experience with gondolas, MCWPs, PM hoists, gearboxes and electrical control panels is preferred.
• Valid Class 3 driving license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for motorized access equipment and hoists across active construction sites.
• Ensure equipment meets MOM, BCA and WSH standards; coordinate testing and certifications with PE and AE.
• Lead troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical faults on-site to minimize downtime for clients.
• Manage and deploy a team of technicians, electricians and site mechanics while enforcing safety protocols.
• Manage spare parts inventory and monitor maintenance expenditures; maintain equipment logs.
