Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to support upkeep of production tools on the shop floor. You will work closely with process engineers, maintenance and quality teams to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in an engineering/technical field required.
• Experience maintaining semiconductor manufacturing equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.

• Maintenance: perform routine/preventive maintenance on machinery for reliability.
• Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Calibrate, maintain and repair semiconductor equipment; troubleshoot issues.
• Install and configure semiconductor equipment; conduct functional tests.
• Read and interpret schematics/technical drawings; ensure safety compliance.
• Document service activities with detailed records; maintain quality standards.
• Demonstrate strong problem‑solving and root-cause analysis skills.

YOUR ROLE

AME is responsible for upkeep production tools to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. This role works closely with Process engineers, maintenance, and quality teams to support daily operations on the shop floor.

Job scope involving:

• Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machine to ensure reliable performance.
• System operation: Operate and monitor equipment and system to ensure they are function optimally.
• Calibrate, maintain, and repair electronic semiconductor equipment
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with semiconductor equipment
• Install and configure semiconductor equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure equipment is functioning correctly
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawing
• Safety and compliance: Follow safety procedure and regulations and ensure all work meets quality standard.
• Documentation: Keep detail record of all service performed
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Technical diploma or associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Technology (or equivalent).
• High school diploma with substantial relevant experience may be considered.
