Job summary

Murata Electronics Singapore (Pte.) Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain process machinery and drive reliability in our Yishun site. Based in Singapore, you will support daily plant operations and participate in safety and efficiency initiatives.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics, with at least 1 year of maintenance experience and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Flexibility for rotating shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 1 year working experience in maintenance engineering is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with PowerPoint skills.

• Availability to work on a rotating shift schedule (morning and night shifts).

Responsibilities

• Carry out periodical maintenance for process machinery on schedule.
• Assist immediate breakdown restoration of machine function to achieve production output.
• Support set up of machinery to ensure on time for mass production.
• Carry out corrective maintenance timely accordingly to plan.
• Propose, plan and implement Quality preventive / improvement activities.
• Collaboration with cross function team to achieve organization target.

Functional Relationships with:

Manufacturing Engineering Division members in Murata Company. Production Department, Production Engineering Department members and other related members in Murata group. Relationship with parts supply related members like machine manufacture Vendor and technical related persons.

The successful candidate will be exploring the knowledge of machinery maintenance, creating new ideas for machine reliability, safe and conducive working environment

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
