Job summary

Synapxe in Singapore seeks an assistant lead test engineer with 8-10 years in end-to-end performance testing. You will drive performance test lifecycle, design test scenarios, and execute plans across multiple projects, including mobile testing on Android/iOS.

Proficiency in C, Java, and LoadRunner is required, with strong debugging and communication skills. You will analyze requirements, prepare data, run tests, and report findings to QA leads.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end performance testing lifecycle and methodology.
• Knowledge in C programming and core Java.
• In-depth knowledge with LoadRunner Enterprise and LoadRunner Cloud.
• Experience in mobile performance testing on Android and iOS devices.
• Understanding of Mobile automation, ADB commands and Xcode project structures/simulators.
• Experience with performance monitors such as Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Prometheus and APM.
• Familiarity with test metrics, analysis and result reporting.
• Experience with test automation tools like Katalon or Selenium is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are hiring an assitant lead test engineer to be part of our test engineering services who is proficient in E2E performance testing and will be expected to support multiple projects within the organisation

Role & Responsibilities

• Analyzing documents (e.g., design, requirements, architecture, diagrams, flowcharts) to obtain an understanding of the requirements


• Identifying the required test scenarios, test case preparation, test data preparation and document traceability matrix to ensure sufficient test coverage


• Execute test cases and test plans to support the quality assurance activities throughout the software lifecycle


• Write and prepare technical performance test plan


• Must have hands-on experience on end-to-end performance testing lifecycle and methodology


• Programming knowledge in C programming, core java knowledge or .Net


• Will be responsible for running test, analyze the result and with solid debugging skills


• In-depth knowledge and experience working with Micro focus LoadRunner enterprise and LoadRunner Cloud


• Experience in using performance monitors like Dynatrace, Cloudwatch, Prometheus and APM


• Experience in mobile testing in Android and iOS devices


• Communicate to leads on the issues that are reported and its impact to schedule, budget or quality of the product


• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral


• Work closely with Software Quality Engineer/Manager to understand the Performance Testing requirements


• Evaluate application architectures and design performance test plans


• Establish performance test objectives, acceptance criteria, workload profiles and use case scenarios


• Measure and analyze performance data (workload, system and application)


• Solve complex problems and provide clear and concise reports with recommendations
