Success Human Resource Centre Pte Ltd. in Singapore is looking for a responsible individual to manage the cleaning and washing of laboratory cages. The role involves unpacking, disinfecting, and ensuring the proper storage of cages used for various small animals.

The ideal candidate should have relevant working experience in a laboratory environment, as well as a commitment to maintaining cleanliness. The position offers a 6-month contract with a salary ranging from $1,300 to $1,600.

Qualifications

• Relevant working experiences in laboratory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and disassemble dirty cages.
• Scrape soiled bedding from the cages.
• Soak and wash cages (mice, rats, guinea pigs).
• Pack washed items according to cages, lids and wire mesh.
• Send packed items to cage wash.
• Dispose of bags of soiled bedding by the loading bay.
• Wash and disinfect area with disinfectant after use.
• Transport loads of dirty and clean cages between dirty area, cage wash and sterile prep.
• Launder dirty cloth covers, surgical drapes and other washable materials.
• Load and unload items into cage wash machine.
• Operate cage wash machine.
• Record daily runs of the machine and report any incidence of malfunction.
• Daily assembly of cages.
• Ensure enough cages and corncob.
• Proper storage of unused cage items.
• Fill up water bottles.
