Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking a Senior Finance professional to lead the finance team, oversee month-end/year-end closing, and manage SGX reporting for a listed real estate group.

You will prepare group consolidation, financial forecasts and statutory statements, while ensuring tax compliance and interaction with auditors and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of finance and accounting experience with hands-on SGX reporting exposure.
• Experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance in listed company environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coaching to the finance team to ensure high standards of financial operations and reporting.

• Prepare group consolidation reports, SGX reporting, financial forecasts and statutory financial statements.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, transfer pricing, audit requirements and statutory obligations across the Group.
• Act as main liaison with external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory bodies on financial matters.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and coaching to the finance team to ensure high standards of financial operations and reporting.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal review, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and financial reporting for subsidiaries.
• Prepare group consolidation reports, SGX reporting requirements, financial forecasts, and statutory financial statements.
• Perform financial analysis and review of subsidiary performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, transfer pricing policies, audit requirements, and other statutory obligations across the Group.
• Act as the key liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, regulatory bodies, and the Board on financial and compliance matters.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with hands-on exposure to SGX reporting requirements.
• Proven experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance within a listed company environment.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. Familiarity with the Singapore Income Tax Act and tax compliance requirements is advantageous.
