Job summary

WS ENGINEERING & FABRICATION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage financial and management reporting for a portfolio of entities. You will supervise a team and ensure timely monthly reporting and compliant accounting across group policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating cost allocations for projects, intercompany reconciliations, and engaging with partners on results. The role also drives process improvements and liaises with auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• Chartered Accountant qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise timely monthly financial and management reporting.
• Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and group policies.
• Perform cost allocation for projects and reconcile intercompany balances/transactions.
• Engage with business partners on financial results reviews and provide insights.
• Lead harmonization and automation projects to improve accounting quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with other finance teams on procedures and accounting matters.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors and provide required information.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff.

• Accountable for all financial and management reporting requirements of a portfolio of entities

• Supervise a team of co-workers to achieve financial excellence, including the following:

-timely and accurate monthly reporting and submission of financial results;

-transactions are properly accounted for in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations, accounting standards, and group policies;

-proper cost allocation for respective projects;

-reconciliations of intercompany balances/transactions and key accounts are performed and reviewed

• Engage with business partners / management on financial results review

• Manage and lead harmonization and automation projects to ensure continuous improvement in quality and efficiency of accounting processes

• Coordinate closely with other finance teams on procedures and accounting matters

• Liaise with external/internal auditors

• Support business partners on financial information/reporting

• Provide guidance and training to a team of co-workers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualifications Chartered Accountant will be an advantage

• Supervisory experience with background on project costing will be an advantage

• Sound knowledge of accounting standard and relevant statutory requirements

• Good interpersonal skills - able to engage with co-workers from various work teams/levels

• Effective written and oral communication skills
