Job summary

Our client seeks an Assistant Engineer in Singapore to configure, troubleshoot, test and commission telephony and voice recording systems at project sites such as Ang Mo Kio. You will maintain accurate technical records and complete site activities to schedule, reporting progress to the project supervisor.

A Diploma in Electronics or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience are required. Training and OJT are provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics or equivalent ITE qualification.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in telephony or voice recording systems.
• Able to understand and follow technical procedures in English.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and with the project team to meet testing and commissioning schedules.
• Resolve problems proactively and escalate unresolved issues.
• Record test results and report progress in the prescribed format.
• Carry out equipment and cable labelling, and routine maintenance for telephony and voice recording systems.
• Update diagrams, routes, and system drawings for submission.
• Follow site safety requirements and perform related duties within the system scope.
