Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Engineer to support machinery maintenance, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will help ensure production equipment operates efficiently and safely while maintaining a clean, safe, and productive working environment.

Location: Yishun

Salary: $2,600-$3,700/month (Depending on Experience)

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions.

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out troubleshooting and repairs to minimize production downtime.

• Assist with machine installation, setup, and preparation to support timely commencement of mass production.

• Execute corrective maintenance activities according to established schedules and operational requirements.

• Identify opportunities for quality enhancement and equipment improvement, and implement appropriate preventive measures.

• Work closely with production, engineering, equipment suppliers, and other relevant teams to achieve operational goals.

• Contribute ideas and solutions to improve machinery performance, reliability, and workplace safety.
  

Requirements and Competencies

• Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a practical approach to problem-solving.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
