Job summary

Enggsol Pte Ltd seeks an Assistant Engineer to support operation and maintenance of naval platforms, working with engineers, Service Delivery Managers and Project Managers.

You will perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshoot defects, install equipment, and refurbish electronic units across vessels, workshops and shipyards, with overseas attachment opportunities.

Willingness to sail for up to a week and to work outdoors on naval platforms is required.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related fields).
• Naval-related maintenance training certifications are advantageous.
• Solid working knowledge of underwater, mechanical, electronics, and electrical systems on commercial and military vessels.
• Familiarity with maintenance regimes and basic troubleshooting down to card level.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.

Job description

As an Assistant Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the operational readiness and maintenance of naval platforms. Working closely with fellow engineers, Service Delivery Managers, and Project Managers, you will support the upkeep of onboard systems through hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, refurbishment, and equipment installation across vessels, workshops, and shipyards. You will have opportunities to be short-listed for participation in short-term overseas attachment and training courses.

Academic Qualifications:
