Job summary
Success Human Resource Centre Pte Ltd invites applications for an Assistant Engineer – Naval Systems Maintenance on a 1-year contract based at Changi Naval Base. The role involves hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation across vessels, workshops, and shipyards.
The ideal candidate holds a NITEC or Diploma in Engineering and can work outdoors, travel overseas if required, with shuttle service to Changi Naval Base. Salary ranges up to SGD 4k–5k depending on experience.
Qualifications
- NITEC or Diploma in Engineering required.
- Naval-related maintenance training certifications are advantageous.
- Solid working knowledge of underwater, mechanical, electronics, and electrical systems on vessels.
- Willingness to sail for up to a week when required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining naval systems at high availability and readiness.
- Perform maintenance tasks onboard vessels, in workshops, and at shipyards.
- Troubleshoot system defects and perform corrective actions.
- Carry out installation and removal of equipment and systems.
- Refurbish electronic units and assemblies to restore functionality.
