Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to perform on-site inspections, maintenance and servicing of electrical and mechanical equipment at client facilities across Singapore.

You will diagnose faults, carry out installations, assist with upgrades and work closely with engineering teams to ensure safe, reliable operation. No experience required; on-the-job training provided and travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering required.
• No prior experience needed; on-the-job training provided.
• Willingness to travel to different client sites across Singapore; valid Class 3 driving licence an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections, troubleshooting and servicing at clients' premises.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, repairs and installation work.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and propose solutions.
• Test and Commission equipment to ensure proper function.
• Assist with equipment upgrades and system improvements.
• Coordinate with Engineers on project tasks and site work.
• Ensure work complies with safety policies and company procedures.
• Provide technical support and resolve equipment issues at customer sites.
• Carry out ad-hoc technical and engineering duties as assigned.

Job Scopes

• Perform on-site inspections, troubleshooting and technical servicing at clients' premises.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, equipment repairs and installation work.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform testing and commissioning of equipment and systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Assist with mechanical and electrical equipment upgrades and system improvements.
• Work closely with Engineers on project coordination, equipment installation and maintenance activities.
• Ensure servicing and maintenance activities comply with company procedures and safety requirements.
• Follow established field service processes, technical guidelines and operational protocols.
• Provide technical support and resolve equipment-related issues at customer sites.
• Perform other ad-hoc technical and engineering duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum ITE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Relevant experience in equipment maintenance, servicing, installation or troubleshooting is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.
• Willing to perform hands-on technical work and travel to different client sites across Singapore.
• Possession of a valid Class 3 Driving Licence is an added advantage.
