Singapore Epson Industrial PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on engineer to join the Reel-to-Reel (RTR) team, focusing on process optimization, troubleshooting, yield improvement, and equipment performance in semiconductor manufacturing.

You will support NPI, process trials and production ramp-up, while maintaining ISO documents and collaborating with Production, Quality and Engineering teams. Fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates with internship experience welcome.
• Experience in Reel-to-Reel (RTR), chemical processes, semiconductor manufacturing, or precision engineering is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Reel-to-Reel (RTR) electroplating processes and equipment to ensure stable production.
• Monitor and optimize key plating parameters (current, voltage, line speed, temperature, chemical concentration).
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Improve yield, quality, productivity and process stability through CI and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Support NPI, process trials and production ramp-up activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Engineering teams; coordinate with customers when required.
• Maintain ISO documents, SOPs and process records.
• Assist audits and engineering change implementation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Reel-to-Reel (RTR) electroplating processes and equipment to ensure stable production.
• Monitor and optimize key plating parameters, including current, voltage, line speed, temperature and chemical concentration.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
• Improve yield, quality, productivity, and process stability through continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process trials, and production ramp-up activities.
• Work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to resolve process-related issues.
• Coordinate with customers on process-related issues and activities, when required.
• Maintain relevant ISO documents, SOPs, and process records.
• Support internal & customer audits, and engineering change implementation activities.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree inChemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
• Working experience or exposure in Reel-to-Reel (RTR), chemical processes, semiconductor manufacturing, or precision engineering is an advantage.
• Knowledge ofLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, or continuous improvement methodologiesis an added advantage.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work in ahands-on manufacturing/production environment.
