Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore is seeking a senior specialist to lead the Information Plans Section in strategising and planning strategic communications within the Digital and Intelligence Service. You will guide analysis of DIS SC strategies and their impact to inform senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include developing DIS SC plans, overseeing operations reviews, and coordinating training roadmaps while managing incident responses for DIS SC crises in collaboration with MINDEF/SAF/DIS

Qualifications

Education in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, International Relations, Social Sciences or related discipline is preferred.
At least 8 years of experience in strategic or corporate communications or policy work.
Strong writing and communication abilities with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

Conceptualise DIS's SC plans and messaging to support the overall communications strategy.
Develop and review DIS's SC concept of operations across various operations.
Oversee sense-making and analysis of DIS SC strategies and plans effectiveness with stakeholders.
Develop DIS's SC capabilities to strengthen communications efforts and SC analysis functions.
Collaborate in planning DIS SC training and education roadmap in alignment with SC objectives.
Perform incident and crisis management in the event of a DIS SC crisis or incident, and provide support to MINDEF/SAF/DIS HQ.
