Job summary

sggovterp is seeking an experienced finance operations professional to oversee revenue management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring for the Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF). The role emphasizes process automation, BI analytics, and regulatory compliance, with collaboration across procurement, HR, and finance teams.

You will drive invoicing workflows, perform revenue realization across multiple streams, and lead long-term financial planning and sustainability reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics or related fields.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience is preferred in finance operations, revenue assurance, financial planning, or operational support.
• Proven experience in revenue reconciliation, discrepancy resolution, financial forecasting, cash flow management, and operational cost monitoring.
• Hands-on exposure in process automation, invoicing workflow enhancement and statutory review supporting activities.
• Experience in end-to-end business intelligence projects, data modelling, dashboard development, and data-driven business analysis.
• Professional finance qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) are highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Green Bond reporting, ESG disclosure and business intelligence analytics is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and programming knowledge (Workday) will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design and roll out of financial system capabilities as an inaugural initiative to streamline invoicing workflows.
• Perform billing, revenue reconciliation, and collection activities for multiple income streams, including electricity sales and other proceeds.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting and cash flow management for IWMF, including budgeting and variance analysis for management decisions.
• Execute operational cost control and ongoing monitoring across defined operating lines.
• Compile and furnish management with structured financial performance datasets and insights for TSNA reviews.
• Partner with procurement divisions to ensure alignment with budgets and financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulatory requirements, and support month-end close and audits.
• Take ownership of core HR deliverables post EES engagement sessions and related analytics.
• Contribute to business intelligence initiatives including data extraction, modeling, dashboard development, and KPI reporting.
