Job summary

sggovterp is seeking an Assistant Director, Enforcement Policy in Singapore on a 1-year contract with potential renewal. The role focuses on developing enforcement policies, frameworks, and procedures, while maintaining controlled documentation.

You will lead policy proposals, stakeholder engagements, and knowledge management to ensure consistency across enforcement activities. The successful candidate will contribute to policy formulation, research, and the enhancement of enforcement

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of enforcement operations and/or policy development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills for delivering policy proposals and recommendations to senior management.
• Good project management abilities to handle multiple policy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement enforcement policies and legislative proposals.

• Identify gaps in enforcement framework, recommend solutions and plans, and supervise implementation to ensure successful execution of enforcement policies.

• Develop enforcement strategies that improve the authority's enforcement capabilities and effectiveness
• Conduct research and analysis on enforcement issues to support policy development and operational effectiveness
• Assist in developing and reviewing enforcement workflows and standard operating procedures
• Establish and maintain knowledge management systems and documentation processes to preserve institutional knowledge and promote operational consistency
• Identify gaps in enforcement framework, recommend solutions and plans, and supervise implementation to ensure successful execution of enforcement policies

[What we are looking for]

• At least 5 years of experience in enforcement operations and/or enforcement policy development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to create clear policies and procedure
• Strong presentation skills for delivering policy proposals and recommendations to senior management
• Good project management abilities to handle multiple policy initiatives and operational support tasks

The successful candidate will be offered a 1-year contract (with option for automatic renewal for a further one year) in the first instance.
